Why do you need a charge pipe for your 335i? The OEM BMW charge pipe is a ticking time bomb for any N55 335i running higher than stock boost. Its plastic design will adequately hold the boost on stock settings, but on tuned cars its failure is inevitable. Don't wait until your driving home in limp mode to upgrade this critical component of your N55!
The ARM Motorsports N55 charge pipe is designed to handle the highest levels of boost. Constructed of 6061 aluminum, the ARM N55 335i charge pipe connects to the throttle body using a precision CNC machined connection which is secured by the OEM metal C-Clip. It also includes an upgraded O-Ring for a secure and leak-free seal.
The ARM N55 Charge Pipe is engineered to optimize airflow between the intercooler and the throttle body. To further increase the performance of your 335i, there are two hookups for either methanol or nitrous which come pre-capped. For reconnecting your factory TMAP sensor, there is a CNC machined flange for perfect fitment with new bolts to replace the course threaded factory screws.
The design of this charge pipe will fit the stock intercooler or any aftermarket intercooler that bolts up to the stock charge pipe.

United StatesWith the n55 chargepipe, you will notice two aluminum designs and this is the superior one because it is very easy to access from the bottom for installation. Combined with the price and accessories included, this is the best bang for buck aluminum chargepipe sold currently. I did not have to remove the intercooler to install this, and overall the installation was pretty simple. The included gasket was not the right size, so I used the Mann Hu816X oil filter gasket which is the exact same part number on realOEM. After this the fit was perfect with little pressure required to get it on, and I had no boost leaks the first time. After contacting ARM customer support, they quickly sent me the right size gasket, with fantastic customer support. I will continue to purchase ARM products, and I have a great experience with my downpipe as well.

Vast improvement over the stock pipe that exploded! I did have to shave the original screws that held the maf sensor as the originals were longer than what the new pipe was drilled for. No biggie...quick turn with the old dremmel and all was fine. Was also a little concerned that this did not have the mid mounting screw and bracket...but it fit fine with very little wiggle on the pipe. All in all only took about an hour to get it in. I recommend it.
