    PROFILE

    Why do you need to upgrade the charge pipe on your N54 335i? The stock N54 charge pipe is a ticking time bomb for any 335i/xi running higher than stock boost. Its plastic design will adequately hold the boost on stock settings, but on tuned cars it is prone to bursting.  Don't wait until yours breaks to upgrade this critical component of your N54!
    If you are looking to retain the OEM Diverter Valves, this version of the ARM N54 Charge Pipe is for you.  It includes two ports to reconnect the OEM DV's and whether you plan to retain the OEM recirculation feature or vent to atmosphere, the ARM N54 Charge Pipe will do the job.  For those of you looking to upgrade to a TiAL Q BOV, check out our N54 Charge Pipe with TiAL Flange.
     

    CONSTRUCTION

    The ARM Motorsports N54 charge pipe is designed to handle the highest levels of boost. Constructed of 6061 aluminum, the ARM N54 335i charge pipe connects to the throttle body using a precision CNC machined connection which is secured by the OEM metal C-Clip.  It also includes an upgraded O-Ring for a secure and leak-free seal. 
    The ARM N54 Charge Pipe is engineered to optimize airflow between the intercooler and the throttle body.  To further increase the performance of your 335i, there are two hookups for either methanol or nitrous which come pre-capped. For reconnecting your factory TMAP sensor, there is a CNC machined flange for perfect fitment with new bolts to replace the course threaded factory screws.

    The design of this charge pipe will fit the stock intercooler or any aftermarket intercooler that bolts up to the stock charge pipe.

      Charge Pipe Ecellent.

      I ordered this pipe after doing some research because I had originally been using a no name brand after market one. The after market one worked alright and I thought I'd saved a few bucks by buying it. But after I boosted my power by putting in some up graded Turbos (17T, TD04's) the power of the new set up was clearly showing the failings of the "Cheap" part. As well i had thought that all of the after market Charge Pipes must not quite fit as well as the OEM one as I really struggled to make it fit and then have the room for the rest of the parts and hoses without doing a whole relocation of said hoses and parts. So after looking at the choices and prices of the many pipes I read reviews etc and realized the ARM was used by my favorite YT channel as well it came with a new "O" ring included so I took a closer look. The location of the bung holes was on the top and closer together than others which I liked due to access to them when needed. The angle of the diverter valve bungs has been thought out and actually test fitted. I've seen where cheap ones are at the wrong angle and don't leave room for the angle of the actual Charge pipe to fit when installing. So I opted for this one. I chose to not use the BOV anymore as the seal on it was not up to the bigger boost either so I'm using the OEM diverter valves in place of a BOV. Working great so far. Which is another reason I chose the ARM brand pipe. It was available in that format. The pipe seals on 25 PSI (So far so good LOL) and it also fits in the area under the hood much better. No fighting with the power steering lines to try and make it fit. Thank you for the great product and I'll be looking at getting the Intercooler and hose kit in the future as well. Thanks.
