5" FMIC
An ARM FMIC upgrade is one of the best modifications for your 135i because not only does it yield an average of 25whp and 27wtq but it does so consistently. "How?" you may ask. When you increase power with a tune for example, you are increasing boost pressure and ultimately heat in the engine. When the ECU (DME) detects too much heat, it will actually reduce timing and limit the amount of power the engine can produce in order to avoid damage. What an ARM intercooler upgrade does for your 135i is keep the intake air temperature in the ECU's "safe zone", allowing it to maximize all the modifications you have on your car.
7" FMIC
At 805 cubic inches the ARM Motorsports 7” FMIC provides a significant increase in cooling efficiency over the 5" FMIC and the perfect intercooler upgrade for N55 powered 135i maxing out the stock turbos or running a turbo upgrade. With almost a 30% increase in size over our 5" intercooler upgrade, our 7" FMIC a respectable step up in overall volume for handling higher boost applications where the IAT's can rise quickly.
1K FMIC
The foundation of the ARM 1K FMIC is it's massive core with a volume of 1,155cu in. Measuring in at 20"x11"x7.5" it is 270% bigger than the stock intercooler and one of the largest FMIC's available for the E-Series BMW.
Size does matter, but it's not the whole story. Which is why the ARM 1K FMIC utilizes an ultra-dense fin pack of 20 fins per inch to maximize the volume of it's huge core.
Combine the over-sized core with the ultra-dense fin packs of the 1K FMIC and you have one of the best performing intercoolers available for the E-Series BMW. Below is a datalog from our project 335xi equipped with upgraded turbos, supporting modifications, and our ARM 1K FMIC. During 3rd gear datalogs we were seeing only 5 degree increases in IAT's from the beginning of the run to the end, the starting IAT being 59 degrees Fahrenheit, and still an icy cool 64 degrees at the finish.
DOWNPIPE
The ARM E-Series N55 Downpipe is designed to increase power and performance of your N55 equipped BMW by optimizing exhaust flow and reducing back pressure.

135i RACE EXHAUST
If you're looking to transform the sound of your 135i, The ARM 135i Race Exhaust is for you! The ARM 135i Race Exhaust is designed to open up the sound of your 135i by removing the secondary catalysts, resonator, and muffler found in the OEM 135i setup. These elements of the OEM 135i exhaust hit the mute button on your 135i. The ARM 135i Race Exhaust turns up the volume on all the incredible sounds hidden by the OEM 135i exhaust. After installing the ARM 135i Race Exhaust you will experience all the snarl under load, whistling turbo sounds on deceleration, and raw roar on full throttle that your 3.0L inline six has to offer! N55 CHARGE PIPE
Why do you need a charge pipe for your 135i? The OEM BMW charge pipe is a ticking time bomb for any N55 135i running higher than stock boost. Its plastic design will adequately hold the boost on stock settings, but on tuned cars its failure is inevitable. Don't wait until your driving home in limp mode to upgrade this critical component of your N55!
N55 INTAKE
The ARM N55 Intake is a complete induction solution for the N55 found in the E9X chassis! From the turbo to the air filter the entire system has be redesigned to improve airflow and turbo spool, resulting in more power and better throttle response for your N55 powered BMW. The ARM N55 Intake shortens the induction pathway from the OEM setup by 68%. By moving the air filter to behind the headlight area, the path of airflow from the high-flow performance filter to the turbo is greatly improved.
FMIC HOSE UPGRADE
The ARM Motorsports' FMIC Hose Upgrade is designed to work seamlessly with the ARM 5"/7" FMIC and N54/N55 Charge Pipe upgrades to eliminate any restriction from the OEM connections. The ARM Motorsports' FMIC Hose Upgrade replaces the short hose from the turbo outlet pipe to the intercooler on the hot side, and the longer hose from the intercooler to the charge pipe on the cold side. With it's extra-large 3 in inside diameter, the ARM intercooler hoses are 50% larger than the OEM intercooler hoses, the largest intercooler hose upgrade available for the E8X and E9X chassis.
