The ARM C8 RS6/RS7 1-Piece Downpipes are an evolution of the original ARM C8 downpipe design, engineered for enthusiasts who want a cleaner, faster installation without sacrificing performance. By integrating the midpipe flanges directly into the main downpipe body and pre-installing the flange bolts, this kit eliminates the separate midpipe flange assembly step and significantly reduces installation time. Available with optional heat shielding to contain exhaust heat within the downpipe and protect surrounding components. Built from 304 stainless steel with a 5.75" CNC machined V-band flange for a precise turbo connection. Fits C8 RS6, RS7, and D5 S8/A8 4.0T.

The ARM C8 RS6/RS7 1-Piece Downpipes improve exhaust flow on 4.0T-powered C8 RS6, RS7, and D5 S8/A8 models. By reducing backpressure, the ARM downpipes allow the 4.0T turbos to spool faster, delivering stronger power and torque output, especially in the lower RPM range, along with a more aggressive exhaust note. This updated 1-piece design retains all the performance of the original ARM C8 downpipes while streamlining the installation process with a fully integrated midpipe flange and pre-installed hardware.  

The OEM C8 RS6/RS7 downpipes incorporate two large catalysts which restrict exhaust flow and power from your Audi C8 RS6/RS7.  By upgrading your OEM RS6/RS7 downpipes with the ARM C8 RS6/RS7 downpipes you will eliminate this restriction and improve exhaust flow, increasing power and torque. The ARM C8 1-Piece Downpipes were dyno tested on our own C8 RS6, confirming up to 35whp over the OEM downpipes.

 

CONSTRUCTION

 The ARM C8 RS6/RS7 Downpipes are built from SS304 stainless steel to ensure bulletproof build strength and weld integrity for the life of your Audi RS6/RS7.  You will never need another set of downpipes again!  The ARM C8 RS Downpipes start at the turbochargers with a 5.75" CNC machined V-Band flange.  This flange allows the ARM RS Downpipes to connect to the OEM turbos, or upgraded turbos that use the same size exhaust side housings. 



The ARM RS6 Downpipes maintain a full 304 Stainless Steel 5.5" body all the way until where the design turns downwards towards the midpipes, where they gradually reduce down to 3" in order to connect with the ARM C8 4.0T Midpipes, or OEM Midpipes. 

The original ARM C8 downpipes feature removable midpipe flanges supplied as separate components. The 1-Piece design integrates these flanges directly into the downpipe body with bolts pre-installed,reducing the number of steps during installation and the need to handle more loose hardware under the vehicle.

The ARM C8 RS6/RS7 Downpipes are now available with an optional Thermal Shielding upgrade. The thermal shields wrap the downpipe body to contain exhaust heat, preventing it from radiating into the surrounding engine bay and undercarriage. Keeping heat contained within the downpipe also helps maintain exhaust gas temperature, hotter gases are less dense and move through the system faster, which supports stronger exhaust scavenging and more consistent performance under sustained driving. For builds running aggressive tunes or track use, Thermal Shielding reduces the thermal load on nearby wiring, hoses, and chassis components.
