The ARM MK7 GTI/GOLF R Intake Kit was designed to increase airflow on your 2.0T by removing the stock intake restrictions. Upgrading to the ARM MK7 Intake allows your 2.0T to produce more power and torque throughout the RPM range, especially at higher RPM. The ARM MK7 Intake is ideal for tuned IS20, IS38, and upgraded turbo equipped 2.0T's.
The ARM MK7 GTI / GOLF R Intake features a class-leading 4" inlet size at the air filter to maximize airflow for even the most demanding builds. The ARM intake tube is built as a single piece of 6-layer reinforced silicone for a seamless transition to the 2.75" stock turbo inlet or the ARM MK7 Turbo Inlet. The solid construction of the inlet tube allows it to maintain its geometry during the most aggressive driving.
Installation of the ARM MK7 GTI / Golf R Intake will open up the sound of your turbo and enhance the intake sounds of your 2.0T. You can expect to hear significantly increased volume of your turbo spool on acceleration, as well as a very audible venting of air when letting off the throttle.
Included with the ARM MK7 GTI / GOLF R Intake kit is our heat shield finished in textured black, and designed to fit the factory air duct perfectly. This is ideal if you plan to run a modified factory air duct. The connecting pipe between the air filter and intake pipe is welded into the heat shield to allow for a seamless design, minimizing areas for engine bay heat to sneak past the heat shield, keeping cool air and engine bay heat separated as much as possible. The connection pipe has a tap for reinstallation of the factory vacuum line. The heat shield is complete with soft rubber trim around the upper edge to create a snug seal with the hood, minimizing exposure to engine bay heat.
The air filter in the ARM MK7 Intake Kit utilizes an inverted design to maximize surface area. Combining the inverted filter design with the massive 5.5" base gives you over 300 cubic inches of filter surface area.
The ARM MK7 Intake comes complete with an integrated SAI Filter which installs directly into the heat shield, allowing access to cooler air for the secondary air intake.

Just wondering if I have to use an sai adapter for the small filter , I recently just bought this
I am loving my cold air intake. It’s loud! I can hear my blow off valve like it’s a aftermarket BOV. The CAI is really high quality and looks great.
Although it was a tight fit in my 2015 audi s3, the install process was straight forward and all of the parts were in pristine condition. It the intake fits with my cts turbo inlet pipe and it whistles during low RPMs, you can hear it spool clearly, and a semi high pitched blow off valve-like sound when you let off. I am extremely happy with it. I hope it lasts.
I had another popular intake and switched to the ARM, I have a hybrid turbo and I missed the low end torque from the stock turbo, after installing this intake I did a few logs and Im getting full spool 150 rpms earlier and the WG duty was reduced, now the torque is back and don’t have to constantly hit the gas aggressively to drive around, the only thing I don’t like is that is a bit on the heavy side, besides that it’s great…
Super easy to install, lots of sound
